Contra-indications

VLCD (very low calorie diet) and LCDs (low calorie diet) aren’t right for everyone, and aren’t suitable for all.

Due to the low calorie and low carbohydrate content, your health could be affected if followed irresponsibly or incorrectly.

Therefore there are certain contra-indications in place.

Anyone with the following health conditions should never begin a VLCD (very low calorie diet), TFR (total food replacement) or LCD (low calorie diet). These are all exclusion criteria and you should not attempt to follow this programme or any other VLCD or LCD.
